WARNING: Our kit is designed for use inside and outside of a SCBA, PAPR or an APR mask. When wearing the spectacles outside of the mask, unhook the head straps and tuck inside the facepiece, or simply detach the straps as instructed before placing mask on. This kit, including the straps, was not designed to break mask seal when in use. Any violation or misuse of our spectacle kit in any way will void our limited warranty.

By properly following these simple steps, our spectacle kit will service all of your safety and rescue needs.

Instructions for Use


1. The spectacle kit consists of a polycarbonate insert, nylon spectacle frames and a 2-piece, hook and loop detachable, tuckable and adjustable head strap.

2. Place the spectacle kit insert into the mask along the top of the shield.

3. The insert fits snugly against the inside of the mask shield.

4. Snap the spectacle frame opening onto the insert mounting post.

5. The center post on the insert holds the spectacle frame firmly in place.

6. Place mask on face as usual.

Using Adjustable Head Strap when wearing your mask

1. Detach strap from frame connection point. Attach the frames inside the mask to the mounted insert. When mask is removed, reattach strap to frames.

2. When using the strap inside the mask, first disconnect the hook and loop, then tuck the right strap into the right side of the mask with the left strap to follow. Be sure to keep straps tightly tucked into each side as to not block any vital portals or vents.
